  Gloucester City Hockey Club runs 5 Ladies Teams, 4 Men’s Teams and has a thriving Junior section. On the back of an extraordinarily successful season which saw 6 teams promoted (ranging from National League to local leagues) the club is currently recruiting coaches of all levels to further support the club’s development across the men’s, ladies’ and junior sections. Promotion

Congratulations to the Mens 1st Xl for gaining promotion back into the Championship at the first time of asking along with the Mens 2nd Xl, above, who, despite starting the season on -3 points due to a penalty from the previous season, finished top of the Marches 1.  In the same league the Mens 3rd Xl finished a very credible 4th. U12’s Girls Festival Sunday 17th Feb What an amazing performance by all the girls today with 100% effort right to the end especially as there were no subs. Boys U12 Latest

Boys U12s were in action again today with 3 wins, and punching above our weight as a club with a draw (should have won) and a narrow loss, against the 2 Cheltenham teams. More importantly we played our brand of hockey: Attack together, defend together, never give up. Great stuff, lads! Thanks Nick P for umpiring, and of course the friends and families, we couldn’t do it without you.
